Frequently asked questions
New Employment Pass applications must meet MOM’s qualifying salary, which is from S$5,600 a month for younger candidates and rises with age and for the financial services sector. MOM has announced an increase to S$6,000 for new applications from January 2027.
The Complementarity Assessment Framework awards points on salary, qualifications, workforce diversity and local employment. Applicants generally need 40 points unless exempt.
Yes, subject to MOM’s assessment of the business, the role and the salary. A credible business plan, paid-up capital and local hiring intentions strengthen the case.
MOM states most Employment Pass applications are processed within about three weeks, while EntrePass applications can take up to eight weeks.
Work pass applications may only be submitted by the employer or a licensed employment agency. We prepare the full application and coordinate submission through your MOM account or a licensed partner.
