Frequently asked questions

Yes. Identity verification and signing are completed remotely. Some banks still require directors to attend in person, while several digital business accounts onboard fully online.

Only until you or a colleague becomes ordinarily resident in Singapore. The nominee holds no shares and does not manage the business, and the appointment is recorded in the company’s register of nominee directors.

Passport, proof of residential address, a brief description of business activities and sources of funds for each director and shareholder.

A Singapore company can sponsor its own director or founder for an Employment Pass if the role meets MOM’s qualifying salary and COMPASS criteria.

Annual return with ACRA, ECI and Form C-S or C with IRAS, an AGM or its dispensation, and keeping statutory registers current. All are covered in the package.
