Yes. The Electronic Transactions Act 2010 gives electronic signatures legal effect for most documents, provided the method identifies the signer and indicates their intention.
A small set listed in the Act’s First Schedule, including wills, powers of attorney and certain instruments relating to immovable property, still require traditional execution. We flag these when they arise.
Yes. Private companies may pass resolutions by written means, and electronic circulation and signature are accepted where the constitution permits.
Filings on BizFile+ are made by the filing agent using Corppass. Supporting documents such as resolutions may be signed electronically and kept in the company’s records.
No. Standard electronic signatures with an audit trail are sufficient for most corporate documents. Sign with Singpass is an option for higher assurance.
